does not describe me fully
it is where to start

I’ve been on blogging hiatus for a month, not foreseen. It just sort of happened. I continue to check, though not as frequently, the blogs I follow. Despite that, I feel as if I’m letting down the side. I notice, however, that, although some dedicated souls maintain a regular pace of posting, they seem to be the exception. So maybe my slower pace is not unusual. I keep meaning to give my blog the attention it used to receive, but alas one week follows another and – no new post! So this is simply a hello to my blogging friends. I hope life is good, personally and professionally.

Thanks for checking in! Lazy rainy sundays I hit up your archives. A little refresher never hurts..

I had noticed your blog-cation indeed. Nothing strange there. Some of us need to recharge our batteries. I've been doing quite a lot of (non) fiction writing and it's paid off. A couple of magazines are publishing two essays on the centenary of the Cuban writer Virgilio Piñera, whose birthday falls on the 4th August.

I'm also signing off today for the summer, but have programmed a few posts to appear during my absence.

I hope all's well with you and your family.

Greetings from London.

Interesting... and I've noticed the same thing... a slower pace in Blogland, generally speaking. My pace has been slower for quite a while, now... and I like it better like that.

I hope you are enjoying the longer spells of free time!

Nevine, it may be a case of social media overload or lower enthusiasm, but Blogland has definitely slowed down. I'm glad it introduced me to you!
