I am taking a break from blogging to devote myself more fully to finishing my novel and to attend to Life in general. This is not goodbye but "bye for now" or as it is expressed in Spanish, hasta luego. As always, I welcome your comments or questions. See you on the other side of my break.

Judith, I will be following your decision shortly! I love blogging but sometimes it has to take a back seat. Ultimately, blogging won't get us published; writing the stories will.
So, we'll miss you and your challenging, thoughful posts, but fully understand your decision.
Hamba kahle! (go well)

I'm a big fan of the slow blog. Give it a hiatus and drop in once or twice a month to keep the blog alive. We do have to fight the pressure to let social networking take time from our real writing. Good decision.
I will be popping by every now and then to welcome you from your 'exile'. :-)
Wish you loads of luck in your writing. Reading you has been a pleasure.
Greetings from London.
Thanks to all of you for your good wishes. I like your idea, Anne, of some intermittent blogging. If nothing else, it might help my withdrawl symptoms. Well, this is now a new adventure. Now I really have to get serious about finishing that novel!
I forgot to mention last night that before you go into hibernation, you're more than welcomed to pop by my blog on Tuesday 16th Nov (this Tuesday coming) to celebrate my birthday.
Many thanks.
Greetings from London.
Judith,
Good luck on the novel and I hope the break is truly fruitful.
I've been mulling this sorta hiatus myself for weeks now. Will either be taking a break or going to twice a week.
See you around!
Cuban, thanks for the invite to your "party." I'll make sure to show up.
Mayowa, thanks for your good wishes. Posting 2, not to mention 3, times a week leaves me breathless, if not panicked.
Many thanks for your birthday wishes, Judith. Much appreciated.
Greetings from London.
I hope the novel's going well. I suspect I should make a similar decision as my Mum will be visiting soon from England. But I'll try to keep up with blogging from time to time.
Wishing you all the best with the writing.
